Corporate wellness is a fast-growing field that over 60% of companies in the U.S. have implemented for their employees. The rising costs of healthcare in America have prompted corporations to make a preventative health a priority to ensure their employees can stay healthy, efficient, and focused on work-related tasks without a significant health issue impacting their work and health life. A major health event for one employee that results in their missing work for an extended period of time can induce high-stress levels for those who rely on them to carry out their own work, and for those who are assigned their tasks during their absence. 

While most companies have been stuck paying for reactive health care costs for their employees, research indicates that companies that implement corporate wellness programs allow for happy, healthy, productive employees who are less likely to miss work. Current research shows that the conventional approach of paying for an employee who has already fallen sick results in a healthcare cost of $11,000 per employee.

  • Three In-Office Workshops or Speaker Sessions: Three 30-minute lunchtime workshops on-site covering sleep, diet, exercise, stress management, work relationships, and more. Focus on lifestyle modifications and getting to the root cause of issues rather than a band-aid approach. A single 60-minute speaker engagement can also be arranged if preferred.
  • Wellness Resources & Guidance: Resources to help employees implement and follow through with personal wellness goals related to diabetes, heart health, cholesterol, stress, sleep, inflammation, weight management, nutrition guidance, digestive issues, and chronic pain/inflammation. We guide them to live a healthier lifestyle by addressing root causes rather than applying temporary fixes.
  • Personalized Coaching & Group Classes: Employees can sign up at the event for individual coaching or group classes, in-person (if local) or virtually. Weekly and monthly progress goals are developed by the employees to foster accountability. We use motivational interviewing and positive psychology to support their needs and goals.
  • Customized Plans: Tailored whole-body wellness strategies designed to fit into busy work schedules.
  • Simple, Sustainable Habits: Practical techniques to integrate healthy behaviors into the workday while providing community support for employees experiencing similar challenges.
  • Comprehensive Lifestyle Support: Our plans include virtual (via Zoom) pantry cleaning, grocery guidance, reading nutrition labels, exercise, meditation, food elimination and reintroduction with specialized food plans from the Institute of Functional Medicine, stress management, sleep hygiene, healthy relationships, heart health, and cooking tips. Fun, friendly workplace competitions keep employees motivated. Most participants see results within 3–4 months; a 3-month commitment is recommended. We collaborate with their physicians or other practitioners as needed. Employees can email, text, or Zoom with questions.
